TET - Tactical Engagement Trainer
TET (Tactical Engagement Trainer) delivers a scalable, high-fidelity training solution that enables realistic, risk-free tactical training for infantry units across all terrains and echelons.
Lightweight body and helmet harnesses integrate communication elements, sensors, GPS and control units without modification to soldier equipment, while muzzle-mounted laser units simulate ammunition by transmitting coded laser pulses that replicate ballistic flight and point-of-impact.
Sensor units mounted on the body and helmet continuously detect and decode incoming laser codes from any direction to register hits, and an umpire gun provides immediate control over participant status, weapon modes and ammunition assignment.
Designed for rapid deployment and ergonomic comfort, TES supports indoor and outdoor training under all weather and visibility conditions, ensuring objective, repeatable skill development in fieldcraft and battlecraft.
The Exercise Control sub-system (EXCON) gives instructors full command of scenario generation, live monitoring, moderation and after-action review. EXCON records and replays exercises with timeline event logging, generates configurable after-action reports, and provides near-real-time location tracking and status of each participant on 2D maps.
The platform models ammunition trajectories for all infantry calibres and offers 360° detection, multi-mode hit indication (audio, visual and status reports), friend-or-foe identification, and configurable kill-states (K/M kill).
A dual-tier communication architecture, short-range networks for subsystem links and long-range connectivity between EXCON and participants via base stations ensure robust, low-latency operation across the training area, enabling measurable, data-driven improvements in individual and unit performance.
