LMTS - Land Mine Training Simulator
Land Mine Training Simulator is an IoT-enabled mine simulation system that delivers a safe, high-fidelity training environment for detection, neutralisation, and tactical laying of mines.
The solution uses non-explosive, rugged replica models (anti-personnel, anti-tank and fragmentation types) fitted with IoT modules to report armed status, activation events, battery health and precise location, enabling realistic activation and fuse simulations without risk.
Complementing the replicas are smart prodders that measure force and angle, provide real-time haptic/visual feedback, and stream trainee technique data to the instructor console, ensuring trainees learn correct, safe prodding and detection methods while building muscle memory and situational awareness.
A centralised command-and-analytics platform gives instructors full control over scenario generation, live tracking and session management, with comprehensive recording, timeline event logging, automated scoring and after-action review tools.
The system runs on a robust, secure RF network engineered for reliable coverage and low latency across training zones, and supports detailed performance metrics and reporting for individual trainees and units.
Together, these capabilities deliver scalable, objective, and data-driven mine action training that enhances safety, improves skill retention, and provides measurable outcomes for combat engineers and operational units.
